Quick T Automatic Batting Tee
Automated Ball Control
A state-of-the-art timing circuit and sound sensor allows the batter to choose between timed or automated cycles. When set to "timed mode" the Quick-T will cycle a ball into the hitting position every 5 to 25 seconds depending upon batter preference. Using the "auto mode" the Quick-T will cycle as soon the ball has been hit.
Use Any Ball
Softballs, baseballs, lightweight practice balls, tennis balls, wiffle balls, dimples, and others.
Long-Lasting Rechargeable Battery
If the tee is turned on and allowed to run constantly, the battery should last four to five hours before needing to be recharged. The 12-volt rechargeable battery is similar to the type used in camcorders, both in size and weight. This battery can support up to 3,000 cycles. Extra batteries can be utilized for extended use. Depending on the frequency of use, the battery should last over a year.
Minimal Assembly & Easy to Use
The only assembly required is that the base plate needs to be snapped together. Just place the Quick-T on the ground, attach the ball feeder, load the balls, turn it on, and you're ready to swing!
Won't Tip Over
The tee is very stable with its 20" base and 25 pound weight.
Height Adjustable
The tee has 5 easily adjustable positions, 3 inches apart between 32 and 44 inches in height.
Durable
The tee is made from high-impact ABS plastic and utilizes state-of-the-art microprocessor-based electronics for its controls.
Manufacturer's Guarantee
The manufacturer has made a committment to ensure that the tee continues to work properly. They will take care of any problems, although we don't anticipate any. The Quick Tee has been used in large college and university programs and the major leagues.
The original production prototypes have had more than 650,000 cycles run on them and they are still running. Obviously, sooner or later, the battery and the rubber tee will probably need to be replaced.
Read What Coach JP Has To Say About The Quick T
When I first unpacked the Quick T that I was sent to test, I was pleasantly surprised at how well built it was. It felt sturdy and stable, the parts fit well . . . even the assembly was simple and quick. I charged the battery, flipped the switch to auto mode and smiled to myself as the tee disappeared into the machine, loaded the first of 12 softballs, rose up into position and . . . stopped. Dead quiet.
I pulled my Sports Net catch net into position, grabbed a bat and took my first hack. I smiled again as the tee repeated its ride down and then back up . . . smooth and exactly into hitting position with the next ball. Now this was cool!
How many times had I bent over to pick up balls in tee drills . . . as a player and as a coach?
Hundreds? Thousands?
Bottom Line:
It saves time – gets results – and it’s FUN too! If you do tee work – and anyone who knows hitting knows the importance of tee work for breaking down a swing into its individual pieces – you'll undoubtedly see the advantages of this machine. It trains muscle memory with more swings, resulting in better swings and better hitters. You can teach, learn and work on feet, legs, hands, hip turn, etc., over and over without leaving the batters box . . . instead of swing and stop and swing and stop. I’m sure you get the picture. Few parts, 1000’s of reps.
