What JP Says about the Stalker Pro II

I’m Even Seeing "Older Scouts" Carrying This New Pro 2

Baseball is a traditional game... and scouts tend to be traditional people.
So yes, we still do offer the Stalker Sport.
It’s still best in its class and dominates the Pro Scout market.

But one by one, radarguns get replaced and most of the replacements are the newer, lighter, smaller... just like everything else we buy... and Stalker Radar still dominates the guys who work in pro ball.

You Don’t See Any Other Brand at ballparks

It’s actually funny to see all one brand at a minor league game except for that lone odd ball using what you see at youth games... kind of looks like that one weenie riding a scooter on a motorcycle ride... lol! (You know he takes grief!)

The Only Radar Gun That Also Measures Ball Exit Speed For Hitters

    • If you try to learn to run faster you probably own a stopwatch
    • If you are a hitter, and you are trying to learn to hit the ball harder, the stopwatch of choice is the Stalker Pro II Radargun.

Measuring Ball Exit Speed Before Training... the place to start

You have got to have a baseline to measure player progress.

    • If it’s foot speed, you need a stopwatch.
    • If it’s pitch speed, you use a radar gun.
    • If it’s bat speed, you need to either measure the swing speed of the bat itself or the speed of the ball as it leaves the bat.

    Budget Issues?
Our Swingspeed Radar measures batspeed itself (good enough for under $100)

    It’s a First!

Now, for the 1st time, you can actually measure the speed of a baseball as it leaves your bat... only possible with our next generation Stalker Pro II, the choice of MLB Scouts!

This feature proves to your hitters what their baseline average ball exit speed and peak ball exit speed is. NOW, we can move them on to batspeed improvement!

Peak Speed – this is where you measure raw power... what a hitter is capable of
Average Speed – this is where hitters are coached up and why you buy this tool

    In Summary

Test – Identify which movement patterns are causing most hard hit balls... and not!

Our New Matching Speed Displays Save You Time... and is what you need!

The only reason not to purchase our new indoor/outdoor 3.5 digit remote display is budget. (Our 2.5 digit model is all you need for measuring pitch speed, whereas batspeed & ball exit speed is ideally tracked down to the 10th of a MPH and that means the larger 3.5 digit unit!).

These new matching radar gun displays gives coaches & hitters the proof to best help improve all ages of hitters... great for fans and fundraisers too!

In addition, it saves tons of time as players get immediate feedback and don’t waste time & swings trying to figure or argue their case of pervious success... Hitters buy in when they see improvement in 8" high numbers on the field, 20 feet behind them!

Here’s How To Best Help Your Players Improve Their Batspeed!

    1. Evaluate - where you can help. It’s just coaching & will come naturally to you
    2. Train – the goal to identify which movement patterns are producing the most speed
    3. Re Test – we ask players to set goals, so of course we need to be just as accountable. Schedule it (monthly or bi monthly) or don’t buy it... it’s too expensive to sit around gathering dust. (You’ll find batters asking for these practice tests... it’s fun watching yourself improve... and that display is their scoreboard!

Watch Your Players Buy Into The Improvements That Will Come...

No Player Is Too Young To Begin Improving... especially when it’s this much fun!
And fun and improvement are one in the same to ballplayers... they’re kids, no matter how young or old!

    A Few Misc Notes:

This radargun really is quite an improvement over all else on the market..
Since it is a rather large expense, there are a few extra points I’d like to pass on.

The batteries should last you 8-10 hours if using the trigger and not in "constant-on". That is why we only include one light handle instead of two needed on the older, heavier NiCads of older models.
You also can recharge it without draining completely and still not effect battery longevity... another improvement.

There is no tuning fork... not needed. These guns either work or they are broke!...did you see the 1 yr warranty? Awesome!

The case is extruded aluminum making it tough, lightweight and weather-resistant.
Treat your Pro II as water resistant, not waterproof... protect it whenever you can and please don’t drop it... after all, the guts are electronics. (you may want to call your homeowners insurance company or let the ballclub or school know of their new purchase).

The displays really are worth it! You will find more reasons to own it (especially fundraising). They are now made with bright hundreds of LED bulbs that actually sense the outdoors and become even brighter and easier to read from a distance in bright sun. They even have hooks for ease in mounting to chain link fence as well as feet that have been significantly improved for table or falt surface mounting.
Save the shipping package. Displays are too large to fit in your radar gun case.
