Far more consistent soft tossing than a person could ever accomplish, the R2D2 improves hand-eye coordination and hitting mechanics. With a capacity of 10 softballs (or 14 baseballs), hitters can take hundreds of swings at any type of ball in less than half an hour!
The R2D2 Soft Toss machine automatically tosses a ball every five seconds in an arc of about 6 to 8 feet. The machine uses an internal rechargeable battery (charger included) and the battery lasts 6 to 8 hours per charge.
When used with a practice net, the R2D2 Soft Toss requires an area of only about 10 feet by 10 feet. Teams at all levels can easily make soft toss drills a regular part of their workout schedule and this soft toss machine is perfect for backyard, garage, & gyms!
