Our 7' x 12' softball stance mat is constructed of Sporturf, the highest quality turf available, and designed to give a softer, more realistic feel while outlasting most other turf. The home plate stance mat has permanent white turf batter's box lines and a painted on home plate.
The mat itself is constructed from an extremely dense 36 oz. spring set "Bermuda" turf pile with a 5mm urelon foam cushion. The spike proof construction measures approximately 3/4" thick and the mat can be used anywhere outdoors and used to protect indoor flooring. It's designed to hold against a batter's twisting.
Made in Dalton, Georgia, the carpet manufacturing capital of the world, the mat is constructed on-site by people who manufacture and install turf on many pro and college stadiums.
