How Our Protective Screen Can Help You

Our new Field & Base Protective Screen is good looking, simple to put together, and made tough. The frame consists of 1 1/2" diameter heavy duty 14 gauge 1 black powder-coated steel tubing. The Nets are thick and UV protected for additional protection from the suns damaging rays! They should stand up well to hot summer sun and the constant abrasion from batted or pitched balls. These frames are as good as it gets in this price range!

What JP Says about the Protective Softball Screen

In a good spirited practice, more than one ball is in play. Organization and safety are paramount! That's where the Protective Screen comes in

Field screens are a great idea that should be used more at youth practices. You will almost always see them at the High School and through to the Big League level.

Typically used to protect 1st basemen and the "bucket tender", the guy outfielders throw the batted balls during batting practice, in center field. They are carried on and off the field daily.

Our economical protective screen is perfect for teams of any age who are on a budget. It should last your team or league a long time provided players are taught to simply set it down and not drag or throw it down.

Frankly, it may be more beneficial to have two of this price screens handled with average care rather than one of the most expensive models. Protecting 2 players has to better than protecting only one at a time!

To extend the life of your screens, always store your netting and frames indoors during winter & off-seasons. Cold winter winds are actually very abrasive & will shorten the life of your net.
